The Role reporting into the Head of Business Development, you'll be responsible for shaping and executing strategy within the ETC channel’s accounts regarding hospital chemicals and consumable supplies whilst adding real value and capability to the rest of the BD team. You will also be responsible for executing on strategic initiatives to deliver on achieving targets and other KPIs and leading complex contract negotiations. You will conduct business partnering activities with specific senior functional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
• Own and develop category customer relationships, lead category reviews and contribute to shaping strategy
• Identify and grow category capabilities that help upskill the rest of the team
• Understanding business priorities and challenges and ensuring successful realization of the Category Strategy by building strong partnerships across dispersed stakeholders and engaging with internal functions
• Leads category management for assigned categories to deliver key category performance indicators, including: Turn over, growth, low-cost sourcing, risk management, spend under agreement, joint innovation, supplier performance, etc.
• Leads in qualifying and negotiating key terms with international and domestics qualified suppliers to ensure the best source of supplies
• Partner with marketing to ensure implementations and alignments are maximized to provide category growth
• Interfaces with cross-functional stakeholders (quality, technical, operations, finance, etc.) to ensure all category activities are aligned to a common set of goals and priorities
• Conducts supplier business reviews with preferred suppliers to ensure both parties meet obligations under the terms of agreement, including performance standards and continuous improvement goals

Yêu cầu chung

• A strong background within ETC channel and category management with a history of similar position
• Excellent communication and project management skills with an ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams and deliver complex strategic initiatives, in a truly global, fluid, interactive environment.
• Proven financial and business acumen and capability in negotiation, change management and stakeholder management
• Be self-motivated and authoritative in nature with demonstrable experience of making things happen (within a small or a larger pharmaceutical business)
• Be prepared to challenge the status quo and bring fresh ideas to the table
• Pharmaceutical industries and the main driver and trends
• Experience in life sciences and pharmaceutical industries is preferred
• Experience working in highly regulated industries is a plus
